San Francisco

San Francisco is a typeface made by Apple Inc. and used as the system typeface on its Apple Watch.

It is a somewhat condensed sans-serif typeface with adaptive spacing and line heights.
Designers have described it as similar to a more condensed Helvetica or DIN. It is the first new typeface designed at Apple in nearly 20 years.

The typeface is licensed exclusively to registered third-party developers for the “design and development of applications for the Apple Watch”. It is also used on the 2015 MacBook as the keyboard typeface, replacing VAG Rounded.
